Hi all

I have a 1999 Freelander XEi and the head gasket has been repaired, and the thermostat mod. fitted, now the engine runs fine except, after the car warms up the top radiator hose is very hot, and the bottom one very cold, as is the radiator.

I am worried that if I continue to drive it in this condition, I will blow the haed gasket again. any one any suggestions as to what may be causing the problem.

Make sure the PRT is plumbed in right, LR tech bulletin 0025. The old stat has to be removed and a blanking plate fitted. Is there an item listed for this on your parts bill.?
