if so then mine doesnt.

it usually comes on with about 60 miles to go.

and the range will give a real time of remaining miles until empty.

I only recall having the low fuel light on my dash once. Didn't get a less than 50 miles warning though. I don't like getting low enough on fuel I'm in the red, just because I never know when I might be called up, so I rarely drop below 1/4 of a tank.

Wouldn't be an issue if I lived somewhere sensible, but round here all service stations close at 2200hrs sharp and don't open until 0700hrs. Kind of leaves you up a creak without a paddle if you're out at night and let the tank run low. I miss 24/7 convenience some times.
