that get least 5 foot deep.
I wont do it if its over the second bar on the fence.
seen it a couple of times where the fence disappears for a dozen or so sections.

It wasn't that deep  It did give the horse trailer floor a good clean out though

Wow scary stuff I've not been lucky enough to go out in my disco yet as still get work done to it but when I do I'd appreciate it if I could tag along with some of you lot as I know that I would have gone through if it was tarmac'd road and no height markers.

Good luck with the recovery

Yeah. Let us know how you get on:eek:

Right been down to have a look and I've found it, it's not too far from the ford and is going to be a preety straightforward recovery as it's just a straight pull so a 8274 will **** it

Bad news is it's still in water up to the top of the doors

It's only about half a metre at most at the ford as I drove through it in the ford ranger so as long as we get no more rain it should be fine

Fingers crossed :p I'll let Paul post the pics I've sent him if he wants ... :p

Cheers mate .. pics .. bear in mind the water covered everything to about a foot below the top of the cb aerial when I got out!

For gods sake, why would he do any of that stuff on a ford on a tarmac road.

If I'm being honest I would probably have driven though it in my Focus if there weren't any warning signs :D:D:D:D

Paul was lucky, it is to be hoped some other poor motorist hasn't done the same, perhaps with kids in the car too.

The people who have been irresponsible here are whoever should have put warnings out.

And I will be happy to follow Paul without a lifejacket :p:p:p:p:p:p

Although having read Pauls account I have yet another reason to own a proper Landy not one with nasty electrics. I don't have central locking and mine has window winders :p:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

Old school window winders are good :D
Mine are old school too as are the locks :)

Can't understand why you wouldn't want a fetching life jacket though! the height of fashion dahling :D

Im fooked girls... the 110 has window winders.... well on his side the handle has come off on my side  :D
