I am sure some people wont be interested or say 'whats the point' but for those who are interested this is what i am up to :)

I am going to remove the oil cooler used on the 300tdi as i dont think its required so binning the pipes from the cooler to the filter housing will tidy up the bay a bit plus give me less places for an oil leak. It should also make changing the filter a bit easier. I can then at a later date fit a full width alloy radiator and FMIC in front of that for improved cooling to the air and coolant.

So far i have stripped down a spare filter housing like so

I am going to make a blanking plate up for the fitting on the top and then fit a sender for an oil pressure guage into it. The fitting on the side will have a sender for a oil temp guage fitted into that :)

I will update once i have the guages and have fitted the senders :)

I thought everyone would be interested :D

Anyway, had some gauge senders made up

Hopefully will get round to fitting it at the weekend. Just need to order some gauges.
