just been speaking to boomerv8 on the landline he apologises for leaving it so long as his work committment are overtakeing his social committments , how ever he does ask the human bodies hwo are interested in a day out on the plains, if you discuss it and can get a good party together can the ring leader send him a pm to remind him and he will be in touch when he has some time either off work or social/domestic/time available many thanks to all from boomerv8

Salisbury was ace last weekend

Hello all,
Apologies for the delay, too many 70+ hour weeks of late.
If anyone is still interested, lets have an idea of who wants to come and drive areas of Salisbury Plain and on what date.
The proposed area will be an approx 15 mile radius of Amesbury, which will include alot of parts of the army ranges.
I still need to get out hopefully this Sunday and explore some new territory as some of the more interesting lanes will spoil with too many users in one go.
I know this next bit will not apply to the majority of you, but if someone has got ideas on coming down and tearing up the byways with no consideration for other users then don't bother replying to this post.

I have got no time for the assholes who give our hobby a bad name.

We are very lucky to have the sheer volume of byways available to drive in Wiltshire, but some are rapidly gaining TROs due to overuse/misuse/abuse.
One more thing, I will accept no liability whatsoever for injury/damage/inadvertant trespass, we would all be in this together.
Sorry to be abrupt, but I just wanted to make those points perfectly clear.......

I reckon yu will have between 4 and 6 T*O*S*S*E*R*S come down - so reckon on two groups, depending on date.

When is Easter weekend this year??

no dates - we left it all to yu - but easter conflicts with the welsh outing - an some tossers are going on that. wotever is best fur yu to start wih and uif we can make it - good.

I am game on for a trip around the plains. I can't do easter weekend or the following one though.

OK leave it with me, am wondering if we might be better off waiting til the end of May/mid June, as some of the better byways will be out of their winter TRO/voluntary closure period by then.
If those interested could PM me to give me an idea what dates end of May to mid June they CAN make, I should be able to plan for a date that is agreeable to most, if not all.
Otherwise aim for Sunday 8th June!!

Unfortunatly, as yet, I can't give a definate yay or nay as to what dates I can join in my first proppa green lane outing but you can count me and 'Dave' as a probable possible.

boomerv8 has put forward a date can anyone say weather this is acceptable or not !!!!!!!!!!!!

8th June sounds good to me, pretty sure it don't conflict with owt else, so count me in.

i think the reasons for this date is there are T R O on some of the byways at the moment by june they should be all lifted so that means we can drive the better ones with no problems ............

by the way the amsheer TOSSERS are goin out on Sunday - theres room fur 1 more vehickle if there any takers

Right TOSSERS, the Easter rush at work is over and finally I have some time to myself to reply :
The date will definately be SUNDAY 8th JUNE !!!!
Whoever is interested, PLEASE confirm ASAP whether you wish to come along.
I know it is a long way off, but this will give me and others fair chance to attempt to organise what we hope will be a good day out.
