so got the landy home and the mrs loves it,so she wants to go out for a quick drive so she gets in the passenger side slams the door shut and has shut the metal part of the seat belt in the door.

i cant feckin budge the door, ive huffed and puffed and pushed and shoved and the door is shut on the belt solid..

dunno wot to try next:mad:

jese how hard did she slam the door ;) i hope you told her of:D

was up your neck of the woods today and managed to get lost :D poxy sat nav

undo the hinges bulkhead end- the door will come out and you can use the mirror arm as handle

get her to hold the door button in on the outside whilst you get in and with a few judicially placed taps from yer size 11s you should, hopefully have managed to kick the door open into her face which should remind the dozy cow not to damage yer pride and joy in future:D:D:D

Sack your old lady. :)

in the end it turned out to be,the clasp that locks over the bracket on the side pillar there is a little release pin in the top of the clasp this wasnt releasing so no matter what ya did the clasp wouldnt release from the the bracket, took all the door apart again!!
and put my old door lock back in and hey presto its working again..

so the new 2010 lock is ****e,the ones fitted over 20 years ago are still fine.
