I shall be there on the 15th with bobtail (avatar vehicle).
Finally also managed to persuade work mate Rob to bring his own 300Tdi Disco too.

not sure if Nick and/or 3.5EFi will be there too this time???

You probably don't want to hear this but I'm looking to post whore so i'llsay it anyway:

I'd like to come on the 15th but I'm actively trying to avoid PnP now. I look forward to going every time but then realise when I get there that I've either done it all before and I'm paying again for kinda nothing, or that I'm simply paying to break my car in a forest.

It's difficult to discipline myself because I'm quite impulsive/"**** it" personality so I keep thinking 'it'll be alright this time' and then when I get there I think why did I bother?

I wanted to be involved in the thread so now you know my life story, but I'm sorry to say I don't think I'll be there on the 15th...

my sentiments exactly.....
its enjoyable, but its in the back of me mind the damage it does an the endless nights fixin stuff.
one day i'll get the 109 back there. its only been 4 years and tong was its last play day.....

hey joe... ya got ya a/t's fitted now? looks like im gonna have to go sunday as you'll need a tow or two....

Nah, one of the set needs replacing so can't put em on yet...they're only BF copies, so a replacement isn't gonna be dear.

However, I have more of a prob which means I can't go to Tong on sunday unfortunately
The front stub axle with the fookd threads has finally let go of its wheel bearings nuts....oil seal ****y too, but fortunately the oil soaked brake caliper kept the wheel on the axle!
I knew it was nicky nacky nood, but thought it would be ok....obviuosly not!..ironically I've just replaced the nsr/long half shaft as that was knocking ie slightly banana shaped and splines twisted (from previous fun):doh:

Just got a brand new replacement stub axle from LRseries...but wont have chance to fit before sunday

Don't blame you mate...I've got loads of RRC job lining up...Jacky wants rear parking sensors on hers, so that another job...then there's the QT diff guard to modify to fit up against the Gwyn Lewis steering rod guard, fitting a new coil and cleaning up the wiring etc etc.....n thats not even including the silver one........

The next pay n play at Tong/ Parkwood4x4 is 11th March.
It has been marked on my calender, and subject to me not breaking anything before then (as of today there's a brand new dizzy in mine now, so now it actually runs properly), I will defo be there!...

No.....but I had to leave it a while before answering this one....but pleased to confirm it's been great ever since putting that new dizzy in!...
Or, maybe it not going wrong cos its not getting any attention...been working on the road silver RRC to get it back on the road again

Still running ok....so will be going to Tong/Parkwood4x4 on sunday 11th March to see if I can break it again
