Hi peeps,

I've been trying to find somewhere that does off road experiences around the North Kent area. One that doesn't seem to be a rip off might be an advantage as well! Most I can find on the net are about £80 for a 20min drive. I'm really keen to get into 4x4 offroading (2 wheels I'm too dangerous!), but at that sort of price I just couldn't afford it! I would love to eventually get my own 90, but need to sell my current car and motorbike first to get a decent amount of cash behind me!

Can anyone help?

Cheers!

PS - I did try to look this up in the search, but nothing really came up!

I did one down near Canterbury - 2-3 hours I think, sub £100...

Was with True Grip - www.truegripoffroad.co.uk

Spent a good couple of hours wanging around in their 110 then took my last 4x4 round for a while (won't admit to what it was....)

why?
why cant he go as a passenger to start with - gives a flavour of green-laning

maybe someone mite let him drive a bit if he is lucky.

Well, if someone would be happy to take me for a ride, that would be great!

I do have access to a Landy at work, but I dont think they'd be too chuffed, and I suspect it's not as capable with its 'modifications'...! :D

I reckon it would surprise you...

you're welcome to ride shotgun in mine if you want to come to Salisbury.... can't promise a drive though... if last Saturday was anything to go by I enjoy meself too much to let anyone else have a go...

I know.. selfish bar steward

acturlee - Salisbury is about the best place to offer someone else a try, as there are numerous bombholes that yu can drive back and for thru.

Aye pop down. I think I've got a shotgun passenger but you're welcome to jump in the back or I'm sure tigger will let you ride up front. And ya more than welcome to have a good drive round!

If anyone can suggest some suitable venues in North Kent (or thereabouts) I'd appreciate it - must be non damaging and suitable for a chelsea tractor on road tyres though...

I guess the responses will be along the lines of "plenty of space in the Tesco car park" or "take it round a local school field as thats the best place for a Rangie" etc but hey, you gotta ask!
