as title, the odometer is flashing constantly. Been looking through posts regarding this and the consensus seems to be an issue between the ECU & BCU and requires test book to rectify. Reading through the posts, it seems this problem arises after the battery has been disconnected. As I've only just acquired the vehicle there are quite a few little nigly bits that need sorting, and may need battery disconnecting now and then so is this likely to reoccur. Also is there anyone around Barnsley who has test book or something that could put this right ( for a fee of course )

Don't know if it helps but I bought my old D2 with a smashed speedo display so I changed it with another one then the odometer kept flashing. I was told it was because it sensed the unit being removed/refitted and it needed clearing on a computer.

Yep, that's the kinda thing I've been reading. The biggy is though, did it clear down? And did you have any further issues with it ?
