it's a series 3 109 on a galvanised coil sprung chasis with 90 axles 90 wings bonnet grill r380 box and 300tdi engine I'm converting this to power steering using a 300 disco steering box the front cross member will be moved forwards so the original series steering box and really will be removed. I also want to convert to power brakes it already has discs on front but with no servo they are still hard work. does any body know if a 300tdi brake peddle box servo and master fit or there dimensions thanks

Ah! you called, Sir?? :D

Sounds an interesting project to me! I'd be fitting remote servo's to both the brakes and clutch TBH - actually, TBH, o_O, I wouldn't - the clutch servo wouldn't be necessary cos I hate manuals - Sorry, but it'd be an auto if I were doing it.... :D:D
Anyway, back on topic ;), remote servo's are easy...

here's the thread I did on doing the clutch on SWMBO's D1 300/R380...

If we were doing it again, I'd use banjo's and jettison the bundy pipe supplied with the "kit" - it has proved to be a POS, and I have ended up remaking the ends - If I can be bothered I will change it over to banjo's and 1/4 pipe.... but given I have a pal breaking an auto D1, then if he ever gets the box out, it'll be going in instead of the 380.

Servo itself is fine - good value for money IMHO - no probs with the vac circuit either, standard 300 pump copes with both 99% of the time - in very very heavy traffic, you do sometimes notice the clutch effort increasing..
