Hi, sorry to bother you all but wondering if someone can help. I have the usual HDC fault but not in the usual way.

When driving alongI hear clicking behind the glove box (relay on and off quickly) when this happens about 30-45 seconds later, I get the HDC system Fault, All Terrain system unavailable, Special functions unavailable and an Amber ABS light with a flashing Amber traction control light. This only happens whilst driving and if I turn the car off and back on it nearly always clears. Drive off and I could drive 5 miles and it may do it again.
Has anyone experienced this and have any tips on what the cause may be. I had The EML light on due to a split boost pipe and when I replaced it and the garage cleared the EML today the only fault it was reading was Turbo boost pressure low, nothing else.

Thanks guys.

Sounds like it's got a bad connection somewhere around the CJB.
As a simple check, you could reseat the connectors under the glove box, as those are often disturbed by passenger feet.
Next would be to run a diagnostic on the CJB module, which should show what the issue is.

Would the module hold historic data as each time the car is started the faults have cleared and it isn't possible to go straight to the garage to hook up to the computer when the faults occur.

It'a bit of a nightmare trying to source the problem.

All modules in the FL2 (there are over 2 dozen) store any issues in memory.
You'll find there are many codes in memory, but you just need to know the relevant ones.
LR don't suggest codes are erased from memory, as it clears a historical record, which might be used for later issue diagnosis.
