Not t nothing....when you turn key to staing with key

Hi all went out earlier to mum and dads came out and car would not start????
300tdi n plate battery is fine ignition lights come on but when you turn key to start engine nothing at all.
Put it in gear and rocked it back and forward to see if starter motor stuck but made no difference. Bump started fine and drove it home turned engine off tried with key again and nothing.

Any help would be fantastic have all weekend to work on it.

check the little solenoid wire. mine wobbles off now and again and just needs pushing back on...

where is that??
not too good with wiring lol

under exhaust manifold behind solenoid on starter

aha many thanks james will have a look in the daylight and report back.

my money is on the starter fly lead annorl.

yes. The small wire on the starter motor

Sorry using stupid laptop which sometimes randomly moves the cursor elsewhere so what ever you are typing gets put in wrong place lol

Tightened up connector and wedged it back on
So what will be the next thing lol.
