Not exactly a newby tyre thread but nearly

Ok so I am a newby with a new 1997 90 station wagon.

tyres fitted at the mo are 112/110 N 7.500 R16 on boost alloys. With 235/85 r16 on the spare.

I need new tyres on the front, can I have 235/85/16 on the front and keep the 112/110 7.50 on the rear or do I have to change all four.

can someone recommend a good tyre 235/85/r16 for road driving with good snow handling. looking at
BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO

I have those bfgs, that size to.

I think they are great on road. Although have to admit i don't have much to compare with. I replaced a set of very worn mud tyres with them. The difference was huge.

Not used them on snow yet though.
