Noob!!

hey folks!

im new to this site, and i have joined to get some advice about what to do.

my granddad has a freelander se 1.8 petrol that he has given to me as it is dead. the headgasket had gone, and im sure the rings have lined up on piston 4 as there is no compression.

is it worth ripping to bits and selling, or is there any other engines i can drop in apart from the 1.8??

the 1.8 petrol is the worst possible enjin to have in a gaylander.

sell it and buy summit else,it will gobble up all your hard earned cash very quickly..

Yep what he said. Might be worth repairing to sell it on, but I definitely wouldn't want to keep it.

nar - fit a Rover 220 Turbo lump in it and see it fly .
