Hi,

Name is raymond, i'm an advanced driving instructor and have just bought my first Land Rover.......... a little 2002 Freelander 1800 GS.

Driven a few landys over time, in various jobs, 90 and a 110 defender, but this is the first one i've actually owned myself.

It's done 88k and runs sweet as a nut. guy it got it off said he has had the head done and it has an "upgraded" gasket (good news i think) It's a 3 door model and i will be looking to do some towing lessons in it fpor folks with (dare i say it) Caravans and horse boxes etc.

Really looking forward to see what i can do to my wee beast to make it better :)

cheers
Ray :bump2:

has it got 2 propshafts?

did yu read up on 1.8 litre petrol freelanders before yu bought it?

Yes, surprisingly it has lol,,, as for reading up on it,, well errr, errr,, and errr... no :) it was my sons and he decided it was toooo expensive for him to run. Wont be off-roading in it,,, just mainly for towing lightweight trailers.

would really like to have a nice little Rover 75 diesel unit in it, but dont think that wold fit somehow lol
