my r gave up the ghost last thursday, unlocked with remote , all ignition lights all on , but would not crank , ran wire direct to starter from battery,engine turns over fine but still would not start. i spent days on the net looking for answers , and sifted through every ones non starting rr problems and possible soultions, however if your rr has the same problem as i described above , then its down to link betweem ecu and the box under the driver seat, and the only way to get it going is to plug it in to a test book at stealer ship , or good rep rr specialist to get a relearn and i must say i was inpresed , i took mine to dakar in swanley, it cost 69 quid inc vat and took minutes , i would recamend dakar 4x4 very helpfull and friendly, and the reception girls are great as was the guy who got me going , so a big thanks to dakar 4x4 ...... well guys hope this helps i,,,t sure saves a lot of time and wasted effort ......ROB
