Thank you !!
Ripping my hair out in frustration with these old boys !

Keep your p38 if you wish, just don't keep shooting down L322's just because there better than yours :p

But they ain't, everyone I know with an L322 has had more problems than my P38:p:p:p And they corrode like feck.
You are just blind to the problems cos you spent a lot of cash on what you think is a posh motor.

Why does every post I make on my L322 always descend into a battle between you two??

Maybe I should just refrain from posting my issues, I don't wanna get a bad rep for starting trouble...Just think my problems while they seem at present plentiful she is 9 years old now and like everything will have niggles heck my first P38 was 9 when I got her, and in the first week of ownership I had to replace the Alternator, the drivers window regulator, the Valve Block and the Compressor.....so they ALL have their problems

We all gotta learn from someone - which is why I post my problems in order to help others out and maybe get some useful advice back in the process...

I don't want them to be an instigator or more fuel for the war between the P38 Gang and the L322 Brigade....

Do I wish I still had my P38?? at times....

If some one said have your money back on the L322 and heres your P38 - would I do it - no....we all leap and some times we gotta have faith the parachute will open - this is just another stepping stone to cross is all....

Now anyone got any ideas on Pumps and as above - the Devon 4x4 Pump replacement or a full unit??

Really don't know anything about this but over the yankee side I found this thread that seems to suggest that you can use an X5 pump with a bit of ingenuity and save a bob or two.

04 Range Rover HSE BMW M62 Fuel Pump Failure

You da man G....;)

Devon 4x4 list just the pump at £150ish and I was wondering how easy it is to just replace the Pump and not the entire unit....that link seems to suggest it is fairly simple....gonna phone D4x4 tomoz and ask the Q....

THANK YOU!!!:D

On the lorry - now shes home sitting forlornly in front of the garage again...

Any info on pump prices and suppliers greatfuly received....

Your new profile pic? Great advert! You should have offered on the lorry then you can be the proud owner of a reliable L322 that can always get you home!! Good luck

Looking at pump prices...

Island 4x4 - £333.33 plus VAT

Others are only going up in price...not checked Bay of E yet....But, Devon 4x4 do a replacement pump unit only that fits into the whole pump and sender unit....so instead of replacing the whole unit, you just replace the pump....(and the seal obviously) - this is £151ish INCLUDING the VAT....

Any thoughts...just come back from hols - cash tight - need car to get to work!!??

Saint bear with me until tomorrow and I'll get you the link for my supplier. Oh and on the 3.0 BMW diesel version it's the same pump as the Freelander, which means it's cheaper than buying an X5 one :)

Ok had a quick look and think it was these guys and it came in around £120 inc VAT & delivery. Mailorder4x4 I've used them for other things and customer service is great. Just because you can't see something on the website doesn't mean they haven't got it.
I've got about 5 others in faves and all are coming under the £151 you've seen so far, so let me know if it wasn't the above.

Why have you got a Telly aerial sticking out of your roof, is it cos you were bored & didn't want to miss Corrie, Emmerdale or Eastbenders. :D:D

I have not got a ounce of rust on my L322?
And to be honest, when I look at other people's I do not see rust issues?
