This is an extremely easy thing to do, I have it setup in my P38.
How are you going to use the car kit, with bluetooth or a cradle??
Basically all that you really need to do is remove the radio, (looking at your profile you have an 01 P38 so this will have the Alpine radio requiring the 2 flat style keys to remove), remove the left centre console side panel and open the glovebox and remove the three screws from along the front and then the two either side so its allowed to drop down.
Once you are at this stage, pull radio right out and disconnect plugs from the back (you WILL need your radio code as you are removing power from the radio). Next grab your soundlinx lead, snake both the male and female ISO connector ends up into the dash just back from the opening for the footwell air vent. As you do this use your other hand to grab the wiring. Hook up the original harness to the lead and then take the new female ISO connectors and plug them into your radio. Loosely push the radio back in but dont push it all the way back yet.
Take the power output (thats the lead with 4 wires going to the connector) and the audio jack from the soundlinx harness and snake that forward into the space behind the glovebox.
At this point I pushed the radio back in and checked it was working fine before continuing. As you push the radio back in you will need to pull gently on the wiring harness you just installed to allow for the radio to seat back properly. Once it is seated you can push the wiring back up behind the dash.
Now get the CK-7W out, take the black box and connect up the audio lead from the soundlinx harness.
You now need to place the mic for the kit. I have mine mounted on the rear view mirror on the plastic bit that holds the mirror to the screen. The wiring then runs along the front of the headlining (you can tuck it up there pretty easily) and then down behind the front passenger A-pillar trim (to remove the trim grab it firmly and pull it towards the centre of the vehicle and it will unclip). When you have the wiring down to the dashboard level you can tuck it through the side of the dashboard and it will come out behind the glovebox. Connect it up to the black CK-7W box.
Lastly is the button/volume control thingy. I have the button mounted just on the gear shift surround, just back from the drivers heated seat button. This places it in perfect reach for answering a call and changing volume. If you mount it here you will need to lift the gear shift surround up to hide the wiring underneath it (to do this unscrew window switch pack, tilt out the way and then unscrew single screw holding down shift surround). Once button is placed, snake wiring back through to behind the glovebox and connect up.
At this point you should now have one last plug to connect from the soundlinx harness, the power. Plug it in and turn the ignition onto the first stage. A blue light should show on the button thing.
To test its working, connect your phone up via bluetooth and make a call, it should come through the speakers in the vehicle and the mic on the rear view mirror will pick up what you are saying.
At this point you can start tidying up OR if you are fitting up a cradle then go ahead and do that. There are pictures of a similar setup here which shows how to fit the soundlinx box in...

The kit is a brilliant thing to have in the vehicle and in my opinion a way better option than replacing the original head unit for one of these new all singing all dancing mp3/bluetooth/lots of lights head units.
Good luck in fitting, let us know how you get on, PM me if you have any further questions, it really is just a push together type setup and very easy to do on your own, if you are not used to taking your RR apart then set aside a good 2/3 hours on your own to complete.
