no drive when i select gear help please

i was going down motor way about 60 ish when suddenly the was no drive
aa told me my cluth wach was gone. i know it not the role pins in clutch fork as ive done them before so took box out yesterday and clutch looks fine

i selected gear in box when out and the shaft not turnin (oh its 5 speed manaul )

think you will need to strip box down and have a look see what has gone wrong!!!

You are best off putting it into diff lock as well. Then when a gear is selected both front and rear output flanges on the transfer box should turn.

If not then next thing would be the check the splines on the output shaft of the main box into the transfer box. Easy enough to do. Remove the 6 bolted round cover on the rear of the transfer box just but the hand brake drum. Look in and you will see a shaft inside a gear. If the shaft spins but the gear doesn't move then you have found you problem.

Stupid thought probably, but could it not just be that the transfer box has somehow selected neutral?????

It's taken you 2 and a half years to tell us this??!!

So what's gone wrong on the rangie this time which brings you back here for help that we won't get a reply from for another couple of years when something else breaks!?
