No back light for hevac

Hi, I am hoping some one out there can help. I had to buy a new hevac and since fitting the new one, the lamp that backlights the lcd does not work. I have checked the bulb and it works fine. I cant seem to trace the problem. Does any one have any advice?

How are you so sure the bulb works, is it fully twisted in?? Are you getting 12 volts at the little metal pieces that supply the bulb voltage?

The bulb defently works, I have put a current across it. It is deffently screwed in. It seems I have no power going to it.

ok, the new HeVAC panel, where did it come from?? As you say its new I guess its from LR?? Take it back and get them to replace it.

It came from ebay quite some time ago so I guess I have lost out there!
At the time I thought I may have dislodged some thing when I had taken the dash apart. I guess its time to hunt for a new one and another £150.

Buy another NEW one from the dealer, they arent that expensive and with allegiance discount Im pretty sure you will find it aint much more than 150 notes.

Be aware though that when fitting a new one you will really need to have the blend flaps calibrated by something like Testbook/Rovacom/Autologic so you dont have the annoying book icon showing the whole time. This is like a 2 minute job though so dont take any BS from someone trying to charge you the earth to do it.
