no amplifier?

ok at wits end now had no radio so asked on here was told by 2 people i needed new amp then told by another harmon dont have aux amps took it to a garage they told me head unit was dead so picked a new radio (kenwood) after 4 hours labour ripping out seats and dash they cannot find the amp so still no radio? any ideas please

what model / year?

I've seen the amp / changer unit in an rrc behind the rear off side panel in the boot.
