I could not belive it ...... read about a guy with Golf TDi 130 who doubled power output using NOs.....I didn't think it was compatible.....it appears diesel engines love it even more that petrol engines.........take a look at this link
MV Developments ........ these guys even do a progressive control valve so you don't get a giant whollop of torque.......
I recon a conservative 200hp would be possible from a TD4.....!!!!! Has anybody tried this.........:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::cool:
 
Actually, with the progressive valve you get a really smooth transition of power....so the strain on transmission should not be too bad.......providing savage standing starts with launch control are not undertaken. I belive the there was a rally Freelander called Storm this ran very well with around 200hp.
 
Custom map, exaust and intercooler would be just as good.
Wouldn't need to refill the bottle every 5mins either..... Factor in the cost of a refill........
 
i paid £100..

nos is no good without the extra fuel though...how you gonna do that??
 
just finishing one on my TD5 defender

already running , remap, mid pipe, intercooler ,hoses upgraded turbo and over boost box egr delete

extra fuel is provided on mine as it runs rich flat out due to the remap
but most diesels run rich flat out hence the black smoke

don't know how many bhp a TD4 is as standard but +50 bhp is easilly achievable

ive been fitting kits to cars bikes and diesels for years and will be offering a drive in drive out service when i move into my new unit after Xmas

my TD5 is running 220 bhp with no Gas and will be between 270 and 320 with ( running variable kit)

ill post pictures when complete
 
I have a 4 cylinder direct port nitrous system with 50 bhp jets I took off a vauxhall cavalier. It's just sat in my garage doing nothing. I have a 300 tdi disco sat on the drive, hmmmm I have an idea
 
Go for it remember just inject nitrous not fuel
Plus a 50 hp petrol kit will give you 25 up on a diesel
Don't use below 2000 rpm
