Newbie with optimistic question

Hi chaps,

Nice to be on another decent forum! Normally I'm on the Subaru Forester website, but having moved in with my gal I need a bigger car. So she gets the Forester, and I get? Well that's the question I hope you guys can help me with

I've had a Disco series 2 and a 90, but I've got this overwhelming urge to buy a P38 DSE. the problem is that I need 6 seats... I've been surfing for some time trying to find how to get those bench seats from Overfinch in the back. I'm only looking to spend around £6k on the car, so £1500 for 2 seats would seem a little excessive! Can anyone offer any advice on how to source them cheaper, or a (legal) alternative so I can have sprogs in the boot?

ive a feeling you cant use them bench seats for children,but ime sure someone in the 'know' will tell ya ..

as far as i know they are fully okay for kids, i've seen kids in them, and was there not a pic of children using them in the sales info ????

yes they do.

"Dickie Seats" as they are called, do come up on eBay from time to time but you need to buy proper P38 Range Rover editions to ensure safety.
