Hello to all. Hoping for help regarding DVD Changer fitment. I have a 2010 Range Rover TDV8 Vouge SE with the Dual View Screen which allows the passenger to watch the Hybrid TV while in motion, but because the Rear Entertainment Packge is not fitted the DVD Multi Changer is not fitted (CD in glove box is) to which there lays an empty hole on the right hand side of the boot, sandwiched in between the Hybrid TV and Nav Processors.
If I was to purchase the Alpine DHA-S690 does anyone know what LR part numbers are for the cables/adaptors and where they plug into or if you can use the ones surplied with the changer.
Also does the system require coding for you to access the controls for the Alpine unit on the front screen or will it be(fingers crossed!) plug and play.
Not intrested in fitting Rear Screens as there is just me and the her, just want to play concert DVD's to take full advatage of the Logic 7.
Thanks to all who read and help.

As its a 2010 model & it aint 12 months old yet I would seriously be considering Zappin it into a LR dealership & getting it done "Proffessionally" .....I would especially consider the dealership you purchased it from.......... You gotta have spent the wrong side of £55K for it & when parting with that amount of money I (Personally) would make the Dealer run up & down outside on the forecourt in his underpants (which I ABSOULTLY SURE they WOULD DO in this present economic climate)

Getting it done Proffessionally will pay dividends when you (eventually) come round to selling her on....

blimey H C, you just want to see men in their underpants don't you.is this just about you and yer gimp suit ready for another outing in fleetwood town center.:eek::D:p

Go back to stealer for sure - must be around £60k spent with them already......should be able to negotiate a very fair price, and as already said will hold well if any future issues and on re-sale!

Thanks so far guys, but I got this RR from a dealer the other side of the country and I don't get on with our local dealers, sorry stealers! They thouht that spending that sought of money justifys having your pants well and truley pulled down and your arse spanked every time you take it in for service.
I'm a time served mecanic in my previous life and the stories I could tell you from what they have tried to charge me for work not needed is unbelievable.
So wanting to fit myself having previous experience on various A/V systems, was hoping sombody knew a quick way round i.e. Plug and play

Fair Play Camel I totally understand but you must know that Fookin about with a £60K plus bit of kit is DANGEROUS if it were under £10K then I'd say YEAH DO IT but if you make a wrong connection yer SCREWED ....& it'll cost more to repair the damage than fittin the damn A/V thing in the first place...

Where are you in the counrty ??? perhaps someone on here can point you in the right direction regards a "PRO Fitting Outfit" in your neck of the woods then IF it does go tits up you've got a "Come Back" to claim upon
