Stuart here from London, recently bought my land rover freelander kalahari, 3dr in black with hard top convertible.

New to land rover's so thought id sign up and have a look around

no the freelander is accepted,
its the inbetweenies driving them that we have trouble coming to terms with.

Not a problem, Its a nice motor and something different from my motoring past.

Would love to take it off roading even if its not extreme... still only a beginner at this time.

or BoB, who's thinking(...thats more of a shock actually in itself!...definitely a wind up) of getting one?

they is "in between" reality as i know it.

I've heard that clearance isnt as great as the disco but they can still manage.

ming/BoB? cant say ive come across them yet.. but im assuming they are freelander owners?

please don't tell me its a 1.8 petrol one.

Though why you'd want to take a road car offroad beats me!

Now you've probably realised by now that we call them Gaylanders.
That isn't a 'Gay' layby you are parked in is it???

I stayed clear of the petrol freelanders due to serious issues with head gaskets.

Its the diesel TD4 engine.

So off roading in this 4x4 is a big no-no then?
