Newbee's Electric fault

Hello all I am new to this site and was wondering if anyone could help, I have a 300 tdi and I am having a problem with all my switches around the dash. I no longer have the use of : rear window heater, fog light and rear wiper blade. These all stopped working at the same time. I have checked all fuses and not one of them is blown so I'm looking for some assistance please. Many thanks if anyone can help.

Search the forum for 'multifunction unit' MFU, this unit looks after the wiper delays, interior light, rear fog & screen heaters.

could be a multifunction unit(mfu) problem.
a lot of the time when the mfu is messed up a few other things stop working like the interior lights and the buzzer that let you know if the headlights are left on and the buzzer that lets you know if you left the key in the ignition and the intermittent front wipers.
check and see if that lot have stopped working.

It could well be worth looking at because I have just replaced the MFU on my 300Tdi ES auto and it solved all the problems you are experiencing, and more!

Hi there, I had exactly the same faults with mine and as they all say it'll be the MFU , changed mine last week and you will be supprised what else will start working again once you fit another MFU
