Ive just bought myself an 02 vogue lpg: Im delighted with it however given the mileage 135 K (albeit regulary MD serviced) i have one or 2 niggles and am looking for some guidance

1. I have a small water leak front o/s front obs radiator related but is there any common fault nin this area ?

2. Both elec wing mirrors motors seem to "whirr" away whilst driving, and the n/s wont adjust inwards ?

3. The central locking seems to arm itself without warning intermitantly
I only have one key fob for it at the monet and have aready been locked out once, i suspect the key fob may be faulty as it never seems to be the same button to lock or unlock

Also any recomedations for an independant garage in the Edinburgh area ?

cheers guys

Welcome to the madhouse
Need more info re the water leak where exactly is it there are a couple of recognised faults
The other issues may well be becm related this is the module that controls everything virtually apart from the engine it is worth checking the fuse box under the bonnet see if there is a smell of burning round relay 7 also check the battery and the alternator as the becm is really sensitive to battery condition.
It might be worth doing some searches on here as most things have been covered good luck

the becm issues only effect the P38, L322 range rovers do not suffer from BCM issues.
