Hi all,
I finally managed to get myself an L322 TD6 02 Vogue.
I had a fairly long test drive in it and played with all the switches and nobs to see if all worked as it should and everything did. It has a full Land rover history, the most recent was 5000 miles ago and has a pile of receipts of past work done.

Anyway the point on my post here is that the previous owner had fitted adjustable suspension links to lower the car.
In normal middle position the car is fine although does look a little low at the front, but once it goes into motorway mode it is very hard and a bit bouncy on the front,
Today I had a look and lengthened the rods to help lift it a little, I removed the lower nut of the rods and adjusted them longer leaving the nuts off for furthest adjustment if needed.
I then tried the suspension at different heights by opening the door turning the switch to full up then closed the door allowing it to raise,
I got side tracked by a neighbour and stood chatting for a while, I noticed that the car was low on the front at the passenger side.
Went to check it out and found that the rod had came off due to me not putting the nut back on.
When I went to turn it back down to midd position the car lowered down and then came up with the air susp inactive fault on the dash.

I had a look to see if there was a way to reset it on google, tried the turn lock to lock but made no difference, I have now removed the air suspension fuse and refitted it which has now given me the lights back at the suspension control switch but still have the fault showing on the dash.
Upon trying the switch it flashes as if it's lifting/lowering but does not move.
Does anybody have any clue as to what I have done or what has gone wrong?

Forgot to mention I was making the adjustment on the rods with the steering on full lock to allow easier access to each rod and had the engine running at the same time while adjusting.
Just to give as much info as I can of what I did
 
Guess that means Land Rover or a specialist then does it?
Is there not a unit I can buy to do this on my own or is it a complex issue?

Managed to get this sorted out, took the car to a local garage of who the owner used to work at a used car dealer not far from me selling mostly upmarket vehicles.
Anyway the guy was so rude, he said I have made one of the biggest mistakes of my life, I have wasted my money, I should take the car and go set fire to it, this is the car that killed Land Rover.........and it went on and on.
He said that the compressor will be busted and the sensors will be operating incorrectly.
I proceeded to tell him what I had done and that I was not in agreement with what he said, I explained that the suspension system has shut itself down due to me having let the sensor drop. He proceeded to plug in his computer thing and reset it. After just a couple minutes the car began to level itself off and sit as it should.
He then said do not ever touch the button on the door for access mode as it is the biggest cause of faults on the system.
I asked what I was due him to which he replied "£20"
I paid and left saying to my partner we would not be returning to him again.

So thanks for you guys info and I will be looking for my own reset tool after the new year
