Just bought a re-con VCU for a year 2000 TD4 with new bearings (that I asked them to put on) from a reputable company in the U.K who I'm not going to name for the time being as with it being a bank holiday I have not been able to get in touch with them.

Problem is the VCU that arrived (to France) has the bearings on but no bloody damper :mad::mad::mad: OK! Dim **** on the phone forgot to tell me they don't come with a damper and that I will have to use my old one, and the dim **** that put the bearings on was too dim to relize that one of them would have to come off again!! But now this is where it get's realy funny, it's a fooking VCU for a V6 and nothing like mine!!! And on there fooking website they don't sell VCU's for the V6 (N/A)

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Right diaster as postage is going to cost a fourtune!! Although I'm missing a damper (that they might like to send out as a easy solution) does anyone know if the V6 vcu will go on a TD4??? Why is a v6 fecking different anyway??

Cheers

Just been told by the supplier that there is only one VCU and that the damper causes more problems than good and thus should be fitted with out.

What can you say? Looks like it's going on like that!
