new to it all

Hi there eveyone im a bit new too all this,
im after a little advice from the professionals, im going to test drive a 2001 disco td5 auto tomorrow is there any thing i should be looking for that goes wrong this model has done 97000 miles and the sales man says there's no service history is this a bad thing with these? i am very mechaincally minded and will pick up on most things but i recon you boyz no a little more about landy's than me...
any replys will be greatll appreciated

Yes, in varying degrees; it goes with the territory! Ming and BoB are probably the most questionable in terms of mental stability, but have a squizz on anything goes and you'll get the picture!
