Picked up my 1966 SIIa SWB landie today, fitted with a V8 from an SD1, so I am reliably informed. Left Middlesbrough at 8pm and made the 10.30am ferry from Ullapool today. Apart from the bad blowing exhaust, it did not miss a beat !

I need to find a new exhaust system - donno where to start looking. any ideas - how would I know what manifolds I have fitted? I guess I need to know this. The current system is steel and rotting fast.

Also would like to replace the two fuel tanks. Not sure if it is standard, but there are two tanks that once were linked, though not anymore.

Advice on useful links much appreciated. Paul

its probelly ex army if it has two tanks. there should be a change over valve in the footwell, if the valve is still there its easy to connect em

If you have the engine number contact Rimmer Bros, they will confirm the engine type and from there advise the manifold required or options you have.
