Hi Guys
to try and cure my starting problems yesterday I fitted a new fuel pump to my disco . the pump is working fine but when I put in £25 fuel after I fitted it the gauge still shows empty and the low fuel light on . I put in another £30 of fuel so know i have more than half a tank . I purged the system after i fitted but still showing empty , also fitted injector loom as red plug on ecu full of oil. also fitted and cleaned inside rocker cover and replaced new gasked it was also full of oil. just need the gauge sorted
any suggestions welcome

many thaks
Andy

Hi Andy, just bare in mind the D2 tank is 95 ltrs; you've put in £55 which is only perhaps (£55/1.25) only 40-ish ltrs of diesel.

I reckon there might be an issue with the pump installation.
