Hell yeah - as well as removing the badge of incompetence from the neighbours gaze!

how did you get the old un out?

I kicked mine out in the end after getting mad with it and it shattered. Got a piece of glass in me finger. It HURTED!

Ah thats a good idea.

Maybe in a few months after I have picked up a couple of chips in this one

Just got my interior lights working! (the wife will be delighted) Got 4 induvidual map reading lights fitted to the outlander roof console. Also left a power take off ready to fit the CB into the DIN socket in it. :)

Mines was already cracked in 3 places

Just sat inside against the truck cab and put my feet in the top corner and pushed it out oncetop corner out te whole lot came out easy by hand.

just ordered the paint for the main body. Going with traditional nato green. Get rid of the rank camo attempt of the previous owner! (which is now flaking off thanks to the pressure washer) to expose hi viz yellow underneath. What is what used for in the past? god knows

why spray nato.. use a brush :D

No ta lol.

Well just had fun, I went down the drive and thought the brakes were a bit crap this morning but put it down to perhaps getting a bit of oil on them after giving it a good jet washing over the weekend. Carried on 30 miles down the motorway without touching them....

Went round carlisle bypass thinking... These are just as bad...

Got half way down the a595 and complete brake failure... at 60 mph! Had to abandon into a field to avoid ploughing into a car.

Seems to be a failure on the flexo hose between the swaged fitting and the rubber hose.

I've tried bending over the rigid line to isolate it but I've no tools to do it properly. Waiting on the RAC

whos flex hoses ? any damage to motor or field ?

also did you get your heated screen working ? i swear mines heated up once .... but hasnt worked again :s it lights up when i press it but doesnt seem to get warm... its all earthed via the bulkhead but no dice.

will be investigating that when i take the dash off to swap the park switch o nthe wiper motor.

nah, no damage. Dont know who made em, but they look old.

Field was ok, just drove out. Got recovered to a garage and they have just fixed it.

Rang me up to say "sorted the brake line but the brakes are awful and it pulls to one side" Yep he fixed it back to its original self!

*really need to replace the swivel seal so it doesnt leak grease all over the l/h disc!!*

Not tried wiring in the heated screen yet. Its sunny and warm... why do you need a heated screen man!
