New old guy

Have been here a couple of times.
I used to be on the old LRO forum a few years ago.
Used to go ‘woodlands‘ not far from Brands hatch.
Did a couple of days with guys who used to meet at the Ship, green st green road.
Started off my Landy career with 3 classic Rangies, the last one seriously broke it off road, they were much too comfy.
Then went to S111, loved that one, stripped it rebuilt it took it off road, broke it, repaired it. 4 new engines, 3 new gearboxes. Sold that and the house and went skiing.
Moved up to a Disco 2 for some sort of grip in the snow in the alps.
Just spent 500 for the MOT and going to get expensiver next MOT, so flogging it.
Now on a Disco 3, bought today Ready to go into bank robbing

D3 has more tech in its entertainment system than the entire D2

Take plastic sill covers off and check for rot, seems to be the new thing on them.

The D2 was just part the point of my toolkit containing various sized hammers.
The D3 took an hour just to check all the systems were working.
First job is sort the amber EPB light. Currently reading up Bodsys brakes.
Then clearing fault codes via a iid something

Very important to adjust epb shoes, then once adjusted check annually, people ignore them, then they squeal, they they break, then the same people bitch land rovers are crap.

As @lynall EPB gets expensive if not kept as can the rest. keep it maintained and it will serve you well, Enjoy.
