Evening, new to RR ownership, bought a 2007 vogue 3.6tdv8 from a friend and it’s pretty good!
Bit of an issue with radio/cd etc flicking on and off, reading forum it would appear either water ingress at rear or, needs a new battery- reading that 019 battery is standard but many recommend the 020?
Rear camera not working, no biggie as I can reverse with these things called mirrors but, do like everything to work! Again water ingress suggested but any top tips appreciated?
Lastly, I’ve put a guardsman dog guard in and now looking at cages and storage drawers- anyone know of the transk9 kit? Like the look of their kit but hefty prices, any one using anything else I should consider?

Cheaper isn't always better ;) If this is an investment then , without teaching you to suck eggs, I'd ask about steel quality, finish quality for drawers and cage, what inserts , for cage and drawers, come as standard, what inserts are custom made , what guarantees come with the items and work , etc, etc, etc, Also check and double check about rear escape hatch, make sure they have them.
Other than that all I can say is I hope you get what you're after and always crank a window ;) :)

Get you, Andy never told me you had steel drawers with a rear escape hatch. He must have been saving them to surprise me if you lent them to him.:eek::D

I need no justification for the cage, I just know how much you boys enjoy it . AdmiredWeepyCarpenterant-max-1mb.gif Also Ant was getting a bit fed up with Alan climbing into the front seat.

Thank you, lintran don’t do rear escape as standard which I thought odd. Hoping someone has experience of one of the ‘brands’ as that’s preferable to just reading reviews on their respective sites!

Cage is to keep the dogs safer if the worst happens, also stops them jumping out when tailgate opened- I’m not Barbara Woodhouse.
Dogs are never left in a locked car. That’s just cruel.
 
Haha, you misunderstood our concerns, you don't need to justify having a cage, we were waiting for an explanation from @gold rover even though we know it's all part of her dominatrix experience package.

I've never used one of the 'brands' as any vehicles, I carried working dogs in , were purpose built. As to not leaving dog in a locked car, I disagree that it's cruel. So long as the essentials are taken care of, there is nothing wrong with leaving a dog in a vehicle.
I'd love to always have been, and always be, in a position where the dog/s can go everywhere with me but that is impossible. If you are in that enviable position, then lucky you, or more to the point, my condolences, as you must have either an assistance dog or be permanently on duty :rolleyes:
