right i just went out with a reasonable charged battery so charger said anyway, connected it in turned the key and it fired straight up first turn.
seemed to be running really good couldint hear and missing and was idling fine, until temp was met around halfway then it just dropped to first line in rev counter and started running rough again like wanting to cut out and missing!!
switched to gas and seemed to run alot better!!!
switched off and re-started on gas and was still running better

so what does this point to???

sorry that was wrong after starting and running fine first time when it got up to temprature, revs dropped and it cut out then starting agin running as rough as ever.
now its like the battery has been drained again cause although still idling the dash lights have that faint flashing like struggling for power??!!

i wouldint say a backfire but yeah something like that coming from exhaust if you stand there and listen its not right!!

ok prob mas senser. if you change the to outside wires round is it any better? also when it missing and you rev it does it pop like a backfire?

ok have you any body that can keep it running for you? if so take it up to steady revs while you unplug senser if it cuts out its ok but if it runs better you found your prob

when its revved a little or alot it sounds fine no pops or misfires just seems to be on idling of course i have not actually driven it as way it is and suspension right down

we tried changing the wires around yesterday seemd to run best as they are now?

with a good battery, connect a jump lead from battery negative to one of the bolts that holds the alternator to the bracket.

start it and see how it runs on both petrol and gas.

now put it on gas and unplug maf sensor!

any better, worse?

right swapping the end wires around makes it worse
removing all 3 makes it worse i would say
sticking them all back in as they were seems to run good for a around 5 secs then back to what it was rough

THE EARTH WIRE was never removed i went over that already i didint even know what it was

battery is starting to go again maybe get another start and have to wait until tomorrow this is doing my head in

do this run it on both with the black jump lead connected?

its just to make sure the alternator has a good earth to the car/battery. the normal earths although connected an go dodgy. i doubt its your problem but it eliminates it as a cause!

doesint take much to finish a battery off eh few starts and ****ing about and that seems to be them done is this right???
bearing in mind one was brand new yesterday and tested at garage at 99% befor put it in!! was probably drained in less than an hour with ignition on when i was ****ing about with the eas software not that i got it to work anyway
