Hello all, I've just purchased my first landy, 1983 Defender 110 crew-cab. Right on the change over from Series 3 so it has sliding windows and series door handles. Its got a 200tdi engine in it too! My black hands show that I'm already in love, I've so far changed the oil/filter, the fuel filter, replaced the middle seat with a cubby box, cleaned the interior, put WD40 and Copper Ease on many many moving parts and bolts and nuts, currently fixing the heater, then err gearbox oil, propshaft UJ's to change, coolant to change, I want to repaint it, put 2" lift kit on it, as well as a few other modifications. I will upload some pictures at some point.
Now a little about me, 18 years of age, live in Suffolk, currently studying Agriculture with the aim of becoming a farmer. Bought the Landy to improve my mechanics skills, which obviously I will what with it being so old! haha. For off-road days and a bit of fun, and because I've always wanted one. Hoping to keep it for a long time
