Hi I'm from Australia and would like to know more about the land rover I have , my father passed away leaving me a 88 series 11 A Landrover sort wheel base, I don't know nothing about it, it's been sitting in dad's shed for 20 year's , just wondering how I find out if it was army or not I'll send some photos

Is it worth doing up everything is their it goes has a Holden 202 motor in it what is the price range on these done up thanks

As for working on a tatty Landrover in repairs it cost loads of money. To ensure that it's drives maybe a piggy bank and few loose coins in the chair. I can't see it being military as they very preferred British issue and modify for Aussie conditions. More than likely standard farm utility. There's a television series in UK currently of Aussies buying vehicles and doing them up. Name forget me at the moment. Have a chat with the guys on series section for better help.
