Hi guys just started upgrading my standard 1995 Land Rover Discovery after using all my money for new boot floor, both sills inner/outer. both rear arches and front.

Now for my upgrades:

  • Electric Headlamp Motors with Adjustable Switch (this was just plug and play as all the connectors were in place)

  • Auto Dim Rear View Mirror ( again plug and play)

  • Pillar Speakers ( plug and play)

  • Electric Sunroof's ( My car didn't have the loom in the roof for this so back to the donar car for this one. I was dreading this as I thought it ment cutting wires ect BUT again this loom was plug and play. Just one plug located in the drivers footwell where it connects into the main loom. Obvious you have more plugs going to the sunroof ecu, switches and motor's but it all came out easy. I will be doing this mod tomorrow as my new sunroof seals have just arrived along with my tube of sikaflex :)

  • Electric Windscreen ( Currently extracting the loom from the donar car however this involves cutting some wires :( think I might get an auto electriction to wire this baby up.

Next mods on my list will be a rear work lamp and an electric water pump in the boot to stuck water out of a 25ltr tub then onto my dog :) messy Weimaraner!!!!!

I might get the roof bars from the donar car too.

Would of been easier to buy an ES but hey it's all fun and games :)

This is the pump I have bought, not what I wanted as I wanted to mount the pump behind the side trim so just a pipe went into the tub. Now I have to drop the whole pump in the tub but it was the only pump I could find what gave a good water output.

this is the video:
