New clutch pedal box

Hi all... any advice appreciated on this... one of you has bound to have done this before.

I've bought a later clutch pedal for my 200tdi, hopefully to make it a bit lighter and benefit from the different over-centre spring arrangement. I intend to re-use the current master cylinder since it looks like it's in decent nick. Will I be able to detach the current pedal unit from the master cylinder and attach the new one while leaving the master cylinder hooked up and in situ?

I managed to do that in the summer. It's a bit of a fiddle but it can be done.

The newer pedal is better.
