hello ,so i posted the other day ''down in the bumps'' that after just one week of ownership my sack is empty:(,anyhow bags arrived monday and i cracked to it thinking do fronts first cos they seemed the worst ,no probs, then came to the rears and i just couldnt shift them.so how the f$%£ do you get em off? had to bite the bullet and book it into specialist for sat morning (no truck no work) thankfullythey will fit my bits, maybe i should ask them to add a tub of grease to the bill cos i think i may need it!

if you have taken off all the retaining clips then sometimes the top of the air bags will stick to the chassis.
when i did mine i found a nice long steel bar put between the wheel arch liner and gave it a good wiggle and it released them

cheers cornishdan, spoke to a mate and he confirmed what your saying, i was'nt being brutal enough,so i better have another go before i get shafted, do you know how long it should take to refill the bags?

cheers steve

cheers for tips guys, will have another crack tommorow may be a bit drier, suprised though i havnt had any disco owners taking the p@&% telling me to order the parts catalogue for future breakdowns:rolleyes:.

regards steve

If you do it the right way it takes just a few seconds to reflate one airbag. If you depressurize the system it takles a while, especially if the compressor is a bit tired.
