Need help please.

Can anyone help me.
My discovery 4 has had a second hand fuel tank and pump changed and fuel filter changed but still does same as before. Does have fuel in but reads that there isn’t any in even tho it’s a different tank. Car will start but dips down on revs every 4 seconds after a minute it cuts out. Anyone know what it could be cos I’m at a loss
