Can anyone give me a clue where the loom runs on a 300TDi D1?
I have checked all the lightbulbs - all ok - but no power getting to the plug that connects the ns rear lights to the loom. The loom seems to run over the fuel tank, but I can see any signs of it exiting on the off side. Without having to take (please tell me I dont have to) the fuel tank out, where does it run from and too? I would have thought it was a spur off from the off (drivers) side, but cant seem to find it.

Looking at the 200TDi manwell, It looks like it comes down from the roof lining and its the fuel pump/sender that is the bit I can see. Can anyone confirm as I have no side or indicator lights to the n/s rear cluster or bumper?

Any clues folks?

That's the best i can do for u... it seems it's on the O/S(my N/s:)) near the roof ... assuming the two from the middle are going to the sunroofs ... i guess(allways when it comes about D1's:eek:)

Got the indicators working on that side (both rear cluster and bumper) but no power on cluster connector when side lights turn on - looks like it could be a trace thru jobby :(.

not sure at the mo - it seems to come from the roof lining, but my manwell shows two body harnesses - one both side, and the 200TDi Rave shows one on the drivers side and linked across to the n/s

Heh mhm, may i ask what your fix was? I have same symptoms? Indicator did work (doesnt now) and no brake or side on N/S!! Earth??

If I remember I think there were a couple of probs. It's a long time ago.
I think was down to the connections in the near side rear pillar & a dodgy holder.

One source of problems was the tow ball wiring was shorted as well. Disconnecting that made the biggest difference.

Cheers buddy, i have mot friday, still have this to fix, a swivel hub to set, steering stops to reset, a halfshaft to tighten, rear spring lifts to replace! And its going to rain, brilliant ;) thanks mate
