Near side door Mirror

OK the mirror works side to side but the up and down does nothing other than make a wirring noise.

Is this fixable or is it a new, well second hand, mirror full replacement.

Worth while having a nose. If it's whirring then the motor is running so you might find that a gear has slipped. You need to know a little more anyway as there are different types. The big difference is the number of connecting wires, 6 or 10 I believe.

Same problem here. Anyone done a fix on the mechanism to restore the up / down movement?

Took it apart and the drive rod has seperated from the body.
I will try some aradite but not hopefull.
The glass carrier was also broken but got one on Ebay for £3.00 so not too bad.
