Hello again:)

I'v smashed the glass in my near side door mirror but having trouble locating a replacement.

Its marked Britax 463 on the back and measures about 51/4" by 8". Nothing on the usual suspects web sites appears to be the same:confused:.

Any ideas?

Without going into the shed and checking my old mirrors (i've got Spafax ones on my 90) is that not just a standard LR mirror head?
If so replacement glass is about £5, a brand-new head c/w glass about £8 and a complete mirror assembly with arm about £15, all from any number of LR parts suppliers.

I broke one on my old 90 and went for the larger one than standard from Paddocks.... I would NOT recommend as they exagerated the 'normal' vibration you hardly notice. Maybe I am a fussy old git? .... kids in pubs also get up my nose.

OK, ordered a new head from Island4x4 in the end. £7.99 plus £5.00 shipping.

Does not specify size, so just hope its a reasonable copy.

I had the larger heads on standard arms for years and never had any problems.

Back then I sourced them from a commercial motor factors (they are the same as fitted to the likes of the old LDV vans) and first had a pair on my 101 for 5-years and then a set on my 90 for 10-years, no vibration and no problems with them tilting at speed (as someone else said they suffered).
Indeed my new Spafax ones (which cost five times as much) DO vibrate and the image is nothing like as clear as the old ones. If I hadn't sold the old ones I would have fitted them on again by now.
