Hi,
My driver's side window lift channel decided to deposit half of itself in the bottom of my door a couple of weeks ago......I'm assuming the remainder is still attached to the glass.
The window is now firmly secured in place by Her Majesty's finest black gaffer tape, but I can't find a replacement channel anywhere (yup, I've tried all the usual suspects).
Has anyone out there reworked a replacement channel from another vehicle? Maybe from a later 4 door?
Because I can't find an image of what the original should like, it's difficult to compare what I need with anything more readily available.
Any assistance appreciated.

Remove the passenger side door panel and take a picture of the window channel maybe?

Or remove the passenger window completely to work out or even remove what you need so you can see it properly and relate to on-line pictures. I daresay that window channel isn't exclusive to a RR Classic .. just get a longer portion of the same section .. :)

Thanks for the reply but, unfortunately, half of the channel has fallen off and looks like something recovered from the Mary Rose; the remainder is (presumably) still attached to the bottom of the glass. The car is in daily use so I don't want to risk dropping the glass out to recover the 'missing bit' and end up with a gaping hole!

Which is why I said 'PASSENGER SIDE'. I am, of course, assuming the drivers and passenger sides are similar but reversed copies of each other ...
