Ok, so far only managed to find 2 things not working, Cruise and Aircon.
I haven't checked the Aircon in detail, manual symbol seems to appear randomly and the air con compressor doesn't kick in. I will check if the blend flaps are moving later.
Now, my question is, can nanocom read fault in the cruise control system?
Seriously considering buying one but would like to be able to look at the cruise issue.
If nanocom can't, are there any that can?

It's a petrol thor engine and is still the vacuum system.
I had a quick glance but couldn't see anything obvious.
Anyway, I've found that nanocom does the hella cruise ecu but not sure if that's what mine has. However, I've ordered the nanocom anyway.
Just one other thought, if it's leaky vacuum pipes, would there not be an indication on the dash when you press set showing that the system is actively trying to maintain the speed but all the air is leaking in??

Never had cruise but don't think so. Saint will know.

I never go anywhere long distance without my Nanocom.

In other news, blend motors seem to be working ok, although the force of air from the vents is laughable. Is that normal for a P38 or could it be something like a blocked pollen filter?

Under normal conditions it is pretty much unnoticeable. If you put it on manual and turn the fan right up you should get a good blast, or press the "Program" button.

Pollen filters blocked will certainly reduce air flow. But the seal between the heater unit and dash could have perished allowing air to spew out under the dash. Calibrating blend and distribution flaps may help.
 
Ok, I had it set on lo and it sounded like the fan was at full speed. It was blowing but nowhere near as strong as I would expect.
 
Yep, I'm on my way to Mexico now so won't be able to do anything until I get back in 2 weeks. Then it's got 1000miles to do down to Czech. I'll sort all the bits out there as it's much cheaper than here.
I might try to get a regass done before I set off but the other jobs will wait.
Should have my nanocom by then too so can do some proper diagnosis.

Just a tip make sure you learn how to use the Nanocom properly. NEVER change anything unless you make a note of page you did it on and previous setting.
 
I am a programming engineer for industrial machinery (plc's, HMI's and inverters) so I know all about screwing things up then realising you don't have a backup!!! First job on site now is a full upload, then I can always get back to where I started!
