Hi,

Just joined the forum, I've had my 56 plate 3 door td4 sport for a couple of years now. Had all the usual problems, turbo, dead fuel pump and 3 amigos ( sure there's more) :) and a quick search through this forum has given me the answers to all and more!!!

So thanks everyone!

So far I've added some drl's and wired to come on with the side lights.
Driving lamps mounted on front - made bracket's as there doesn't seem to be any available for the facelift.
Rear worklight, rectangle light mounted under roof rails just above hardtop. Switch mounted right hand side of boot for rear light
Got a set of 15" steel wheels(50 quid Gumtree), put a set of AT tyres on them for winter use. I've got the factory 18" alloys which are going to be painted black as the steel's are black and look good.
Made roof bars from 2"x 2" box with a few bolts clamped to rails
Got tow bar from scrappys with electrics for 30 quid.
Towbar step
Bluetooth obd2 with phone running torque pro showing engine info.

Next steps are erg valve
2nd battery for camping.
Roof rack \ cage for camping

I'll post some pics in the next couple of days

I've got a touch of 2nd gear clunk what should I be looking for?

Cheers all!!!

Welcome mate, sounds like you've been busy!!
Got pics of the work you've done? Where and how did you mount you're lights, looking to do the same as I've got some led spots that I took off my old 4x4

Some pic's of the freelander.

The brackets for the front driving lamps were made from flat bar shaped in a metal bender. Just removed bolts along top of bumper, sniped a few squares of the plastic mesh and slid into place. Much easier than taking whole bumper off. Still have to take the brackets off again, de-rust and paint. Wired to come on with full beams.

Yup swapped all them when I serviced it a couple of months ago, along with air/fuel/oil filter and changed the oil.

When I fit the erg blank I'm I just as well to fit new silicon hoses?
