HELP! just trying to get it to run right on LPG it wont :( will go sometimes then loose all its power like cant pull upto 20mph :/ but other times can get up to 50 with ease. I know its a LPG issue as is mint on petrol. Ive had a loom at everything no wires are not connected as far as i can see. It worked okay wen engine came out and didnt touch anything on the LPG as far as im aware any ideas?

Regards the gaskets, seeing as you can fit 4.6 heads on 3.5 block then you would have to use comp gaskets so, urm, meh?

Basically it was the cat rattling as it has collapsed. WOHOOOOO..

Anyways I cut the cats open with the new plasma cutter, pulled all the **** out n welded it back together n hey presto.. no rattle!

You need really good spark for lpg and did you advance the ignition at all?

I have messed about with it tonight moved dizzy about in few positions but have had same result every time of no power at random moments so i think it must be a fuelling problem :( i hope its not will get it on the gun tomorrow and see what happens from there! :( just hope its something simple
 
lol, they are 3.5 comp gaskets guys as that the bore size anyway I will put some pics on my own thread when I can be be bothered. construction starts last week in august btw :D

Quick update, made it to perth from london :( then gearbox lost all oil! luckily spotted that rev counter stopped so pulled over to investigate and everything was covered in ATF! Got taken to a garage and they fixed a pipe but in process broke the oil cooler :/ so only option now is to get it recovered home ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21376130540.217796.jpg
 
Just stripped out oil cooler. I knew pipes where not great, but where rotted to cooler so need new cooler and pipes hopefully all sorted by next weekend then off to get LPG sorted and certified for insurance. All in time for London to Brighton hopefully
 
Hopefully have it all ready for weekend, then off to get LPG sorted, need to get it put on UKLPG register, and my system has no power atall either so hopegully will get some improvements. any of you doing L2B?
