My 1st post - little lost where to post - 2014 Freelander 2 door lock problem

Hi thanks in advance for any help. I have looked around on this forum but can not find an answer. I have a 2014 Freelander 2.
You you know you can single or double lock the doors with the remote control.

When I do either the back near side door will still open from the outside and sets the alarm off.

Any advice as to what is wrong would be very much appreciated.

Sounds like your rear nearside door locking mechanism just isn't working , I think you're gonna be taking off the door card to have a butchers.

There's a freelander sub-forum which if I were a newbie, I'd have had a look around and would have probably posted in there.....oh and welcome !

It needs a replacement door actuator. It's good that it's failed unlocked, as they normally fail locked, which is a bugger to fix.
